After breakfast leave for Kandy. On the way visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. This is an orphanage and breeding ground for wild elephants.
Evening city tour of Kandy including Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha – by far the most important place of worship for Buddhists world over, Upper Lake drive a place where one could have a bird’s eye view of the city below.

After breakfast visit the Botanical gardens at Peradeniya. It is the largest botanical garden on the island and is renowned for the collection of variety of Orchids, which has more than 300 varieties of Orchids, more than 5000 spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Then proceed to the city centre for shopping.
Late evening, witness a Cultural Show by traditional Kandyan Dancers and Drummers including “Fire Walking”.

After breakfast leave to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to witness the manufacturing process of the world famous “Ceylon Tea” and to taste a pure unblended cup of factory fresh tea. Also pass by eye-catching views with waterfalls.

After breakfast leave for Yala. In the evening commence a half day jeep safari to Yala National park; Yala National Park is the second largest and most visited national park in Sri Lanka. The park covers 979 square kilometers and is best known for its variety of its wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, wild life and birds.

After breakfast leave for Bentota via Galle. Enroute, visit the Galle fort. Galle Fort was built first by the Portuguese, and then modified by the Dutch during the 17th century. Even today, after 400 years of existence, it looks new and polished with reconstruction work done by the Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka, inside the Galle fort which is in a Dutch Colonial building on Church Street is the Cultural Museum.
